Journey to this brand new EP

‘Coolie Bwoy VI’ is the brand new EP to come from British recording artist Coolie Bwoy. Describing the journey to this EP as “painful”, ‘Coolie Bwoy VI’ is based on Coolie Bwoy’s determination to provide the best for his son and fiancé, and his desire to be able to do this through his music. Coolie Bwoy had to overcome many obstacles to complete this EP. From a computer malfunction, to a separation that resulted in him not being able to see his son, not to mention a global pandemic! Coolie Bwoy does credit the pandemic with giving the time for self-reflection that he needed in order to complete this EP, which is sure to be the start of an exciting new chapter for this artist.

Ashton Jordan, known professionally as Coolie Bwoy, is a British recording artist, musician and singer songwriter known for his pop songs ‘With You’ and ‘House Party’. Coolie Bwoy was part of his gospel singing family band where he learned the sounds of music growing up. Coolie Bwoy spent many years growing up in the studio with his eldest brother Clinton Jordan, learning his craft and developing his sound. His mission is to give the fans music they can listen to and enjoy through a mixture of genres and different sounds. His debut single was released in 2020, and Coolie Bwoy has been constantly releasing since then, building up his fan base online. His latest release ‘Coolie Bwoy VI’ is his debut EP, and draws influence from the greats such as Michael Jackson, Prince and Mint Condition.
